Content Development Manager

Eddie Tech Solutions is looking for a Content Development Manager to join their team right away. This individual should preferably possess a strong creative imagination as well as exceptional communication abilities. This position entails writing unique material for clients on a number of subjects.
 
The person who fills this position will be responsible for supervising a growing workforce of freelancers and interns. We’re hoping to grow our team of writers, and we’ll need a capable manager to help us do so. Our digital marketing company is expanding, and we’re looking for someone who can mentor and develop an existing team of writers. In addition, the Content Development Manager will assist in the hiring and development of new team members.
 

RESPONSIBILITIES/EXPERIENCE:

  • Prior to writing, conduct research on a variety of themes. Identify and offer content solutions to clients.
  • Basic SEO principles should be understood.
  • Knowledge of how to investigate subjects for content pieces and how to use proper sourcing
  • Experience translating technical content for prospects into readable, user-friendly language
  • Writing for the web and for promotional purposes is a plus.
  • Writing experience for a range of direct marketing platforms, including display advertisements and email
  • Writing experience leveraging SEO best practices
  • Working with a content management system (CMS) and/or WordPress is a plus.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Proven management experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in English, Marketing, or a related field
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office products and email

ADDITIONAL DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Professional copywriting or content development experience of two to five years Experience converting technical knowledge into legible, user-friendly English for prospects
  • Writing for the web and for promotional purposes is a plus.
  • Writing experience for a range of direct marketing platforms, including display advertisements and email
  • Writing experience leveraging SEO best practices
  • It’s a plus if you know how to code in HTML or CSS.
